The Port of Miami Medical Clinic is a full service medical center, strategically located in downtown Miami to service the needs of the entire Miami-Dade County community.

As an occupational and industrial medicine-based practice, we specialize in the treatment of workers' compensation injury and illness and we expertly provide drug and alcohol screening services, comprehensive physical examinations and physiotherapy.

Our Medical Director, Irwin M. Potash, M.D., established the Port of Miami Medical Clinic in 1978. Our multilingual staff has a great deal of experience in the occupational health field and the employers and insurance carriers with which we work have come to know of our thorough understanding of the practice.

Located on the Port of Miami, we are also experts in maritime medicine. We work with the world’s foremost cruise and cargo lines, taking care of seafarers’ injury and illness under the Jones Act.

We further specialize in travel medicine and we provide a full range of vaccinations and immunizations.

Our primary goal is to provide prompt, thorough, quality medical care for all of our patients, while always being mindful of returning the employee back to the workplace as soon and safely as possible.
